Mark Stuart's Furniture & Wood Craft Plans
- I Bought These Plans
Have you seen the new banner ads for Mark
Stuart's Furniture & Wood Craft Plans? I've included one of them here - good grief, it seems
they're popping up everywhere!
So, I took the bait. I actually bought Mark's Furniture
Plans - partly out of curiousity, but also with the thought that I might find a new plan or learn
something new.

I've been building cabinets and furniture for nearly 15 years, and I'm always looking
for something new to build. But honestly, I'm tired of looking through stacks and stacks of projects in woodworking
magazines and books. In fact, my wife just made me throw out a bunch of old woodworking magazines that were piling
up - I had no way to search them - and they just sat on the shelf.
So, with a bit of hesitation, I bought the plans. They are pricey and the sales page is a bit over-the-top, but, without a
doubt, the unconditional money back guarantee for 60 days was reassuring - I figured I had nothing to
lose.
My first reaction was disbelief. There's a ton of
plans - nearly 9000 in all (or so he claims - I haven't counted them all, yet). And the plans are designed
with easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions. The diagrams are very good, too. Beginners will certainly like these plans.
A few bonuses are included, but to be honest, I haven't even had the time to look at
them all. One I thought was useful - free lifetime updates as new plans are released!
As I mentioned, the plans are pricey, but if you're considering Mark's
Plans, and you're on the fence, I'd say get them. There's really a ton of plans - plus a few bonuses!
Otherwise, I think you'll spend just as much on a couple of books or videos. I've purchased a lot of Norm Abram books, plans and videos in the past, and that certainly got expensive!
